Brewster County Commissioners Court has voted to mandate hotels, motels, short-term rentals, and campgrounds to completely vacate their guests beginning Monday, March 23 at noon. The order is effective through April 2.
The Alpine City Council has voted today to close hotels, motels and Airbnb units effective Sunday, March,22 at noon. City Manager Erik Zimmer told the Gazette exceptions will be made for National Guard personnel and permanent hotel residents. The ordinance passed today will be in effect until April 6.
