TERLINGUA MOON

by Terlingua Thinking Team!!!

March 24, 2020

"Three-word sentences can make all the difference:  'I miss you.'  'I love you.'  I know many New Yorkers are anxious and worried.  But we're all in this together.  Let's support each other. ... At the end of the day, love wins, always.  And it will win again through this virus."

Terlingua, you got this!  I love you!  I miss you!  (-Editor.)

OUR FRIEND ROGER
Roger Cutforth passed away December 24th, 2019 at the age of 75. He was a Terlingua resident for over twenty five years. An obituary will be posted in the local papers the week of March 26th with further details.

PANDEMIC RESPONSE - MAKE SOME MASKS?!
Several Terlingua area seamstresses are working on a project to help keep Big Bend safe by making masks for the hospital, which really wants them.  They have no criteria for a workable mask.  We have patterns and are getting fabric and supplies.  The school has agreed to let us leave supplies there for people and to receive completed masks.  We are trying to keep a good social distance between ourselves so that no one suffers in trying to help. If you would like to be involved, if you have ideas or suggestions, or want to either sew or donate fabric or have a machine someone can use, please let us know.  Let's keep Big Bend safe.  Write or call me if you have any questions. There is something you can do! Sarah Bourbon
