Vol. 30, #33
This week’s Moon brought to you by Ghost Writers on the Sly.

The Starlight Theater
Hope you'll join us at The Starlight this week for great food, great drinks, great music and great people. Starting this Tuesday (through Sept.) we are setting out Uh Clem's stool in the dining room, where he has sat and played his tunes since the beginning of time...the difference being Uh will not be present.  He is currently in hospice care battling a cancerous tumor in his throat.  We'll be playing some of his favorite tunes and will have the tip jar in place for anyone who wishes to help offset the mounting costs involved with this last journey.  There is also a GoFundMe account set up in his name.  Thank you for your kindness! Doors open every day at 5. Dinner 5-10. Music 6'ish. Full bar until Midnight (1 a.m. on Saturdays). Dinner reservations fo parties of 10 or more: terlinguastarlight@gmail.com

Stillwell & 4L
We’ve had quite a few changes here at the 4L and wanted to fill y’all in. The ranch portion of the Stillwell property has sold. This means that the majority of what was the primitive area and rock hunting area is now inaccessible. We DO still have tent camping spaces they are just not where they were previously. We do NOT have any rock hunting any longer. We realize how disappointing this is to so many of you and are sorry for that. The store, RV park and museum are still operating as normal. The store, museum and RV park are still under the same ownership and management, any reservations you’ve made previously for future dates are still good. Give us a call or send us an email with any questions. (432) 376-2244.

Uh Clem
Now that Uh Clem is settled in his new digs, let’s all let him know that we are thinking about him. I spoke with Susan and she agreed that post cards and letters would be wonderful! Not just once, either ... but a lot for as long as they are needed.
No need to spend $ either. Just make something silly and write something from your heart. God knows Clem is not one to condone spending $ foolishly.

Proposed Changes to Camping Reservations and Fees - Big Bend National Park (U.S. National Park Service)
Big Bend National Park proposes to increase fees for some camping opportunities, and to significantly increase reservation opportunities for campgrounds and backcountry campsites.  This will make it much easier for park visitors to plan ahead and enjoy this remote park.

All Energies tip of the week: solar racking systems make mounting panels a breeze! Solar panels can be roof mounted or ground mounted. Mounting to your roof is usually the easiest & most cost effective option. Solar panels on your roof can also shade your roof and lower temps inside your house. There should be a 2" or greater gap between your panels & roof to help keep them cool. We've been using Iron Ridge aluminum racking for years with zero issues. If you need help making your solar system work better, email casey@allenergies.net or call/text 432-242-1874.
