Hello!
My name is Manny Gomez and we are doing a Valentine's dinner at the
Goat Pens starting 5:30 p.m. It's going to be a 5-course meal designed
for the locals in mind who need a break from our good yet typical menus
of Tex-Mex and BBQ. This menu is designed to intrigue the palate with a
flight of flavors, without overstimulating the taste buds. There are
only 30 seats and unfortunately we will not be taking anyone else. To
ensure a a pleasant dining experience for all. The cutoff for tickets is

followed by a dance party. Saturday night opens with The Stinky Wrinkles
followed by The Red Elvises!
Beer and food will also be
available. The Goat Pens encourages responsible partying so overnight
camping is welcomed. This event honors the memory of our friend Glenn.
Admission is free, and as always, donations are very much appreciated
and how we keep this event free. Reminder - No outside beer or wine is
allowed in the venue area. Please don’t jeopardize our TABC license and
this event.

PAISANO POST FROM TERLINGUA CSD
Congratulations to the Terlingua CSD robotics team Purobots! They traveled to El Paso last weekend and competed against 20 teams. They ended the regular season in 7th place. The judges were impressed with their robot design, sportsmanship and gracious professionalism. The judges nominated them for two awards. The Innovate (2nd place) and Inspire awards (3rd place). Because of the Inspire award nomination they advanced to the Regionals in Lubbock, TX. Congratulations Purobots! Good luck to Mr. Brad Anthenat and his team including: Giselle, Ethan, Severino, Laila, Romina, Luna, Rigo, Brooke, Evan, and Jennyfer.

The Terlingua Bottoms Group of AA meets every Thursday at 7:30 at the Big Bend Church in Study Butte. The meetings are open to anyone who has or thinks they may have a drinking problem.
