Enjoy Our Saturday Community Market
Come see us at the
Saturday Community Market, open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Located at the
Community Garden in the Ghost Town, we're here every Saturday with happy
vendors offering an array of locally produced goods and other items. You'll
also be able to enjoy our fabulous local mobile library and portable free
‘porch’, even consult with Dr. Gigabyte if you have a computer problem.
Local art, handcrafted
textile goods, fresh eggs, sour dough bread, all natural lip balms and skin
care products, all natural essential oil fragrances, beard oil and massage
oils, handcrafted, creative jewelry, resin creations, block printed textiles
and vintage goods, both curated and upcycled, practical and artistic items made
of reclaimed steel and more -- you never know just what or who you'll find
here.
Flea market items are
also welcome. After all, reusing and up-cycling already existing items is smart
and green. We ask a $10 donation to the Community Garden to set up, helping us
to continue to improve this space and experience for all of us.
We welcome new vendors.
To make it easy for new vendors to try our market and to show our appreciation
to our regular vendors, we waive set-up fees on the first Saturday of the
month, offering free set-up on that day.

vendors must display current food handling licence. (A quick, easy and
affordable online course can provide that).
Please help keep our
market space safe and comfortable for all, two-legged and four, by keeping all

MILKY WAY AT TREATS
Saturday morning bakery
cart will be open this Saturday morning, 10am til sell-out! Start your day with
a homemade cinnamon roll and fresh cup of coffee! We have something for
everyone! The ice cream trailer will also be open this weekend, Saturday – Monday,
4–9 p.m. We have soft serve, fun sundaes and Val’s homemade ice cream by the
pint!
Be sure to check out our Christmas baking menu, for ordering your delicious
desserts, just in time for the holidays! The deadline to turn in orders is
Wednesday, December 17. You can contact us at 512-363-6413. Eggnog
cheesecake, chocolate Yule log cake, gluten-free bread, assorted cookies,

Terlingua Ranch Lodge
is hosting it's first
annual Wedding Showcase Valentines Day weekend 2026!!
Couples can stay at the Lodge and experience our rustic hotel-style rooms, tour
the facility and taste some Bad Rabbit Cafe creations!
Nani Byrd will be playing live on the patio (or in the Bunkhouse if weather is
inclement) Friday night from 5-8pm to kick off the love birds weekend.
Saturday is the big day with other local businesses strutting their stuff in
our Vendor Showcase from 11-2pm in the Bunkhouse. Couples will also be able to
tour the different ceremony and reception sites and see the decorating
possibilities and vision of their special day.
Saturday night is a mock reception dinner in the Bunkhouse. Couples are invited
to join our mock celebration for a buffet dinner, cake and gifts!
Music at Bad Rabbit Café
Charlie and Judy will be
playing their old country songs, some originals, all sprinkled with a bit of
yodeling at the Bad Rabbit Cafe on Terlingua Ranch.

We will be having a
memorial service at Terlingua Auto (parking lot) at 10 AM on Saturday, January 3,
2026. Everyone is welcome. The service will be outside and
potentially cold so bundle up and join us as we say farewell.
Crisis Center
Hello Terlingua, well this month we are going to make some changes. Due to the
holiday schedule, the food distribution will be on Wednesday, December 17.
Truck will be arriving Tuesday the 16th of next week. Shout out to our
volunteers. Thank you in advance.
The Little Burro Country
Store is
the perfect pit stop on your Big Bend Adventure! A great place to take a load
off for coffee, breakfast, lunch, grab & go and dry goods. We also offer a
killer beer and wine selection. We also have singles for the porch. Come see

Attention Terlingua
Residents
The Tax Office and Clerk’s Office will be open Tuesday, December 23rd instead of the 24th due to the holiday. Hours remain the same: 10 AM to 3 PM at the South Brewster County Emergency Response Center.

If you missed the
opening weekend of Terlingua Burlesque's 9th season of teasing, don't fret! We
have 2 more shows for you at the Cinnabar Theater. THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY.

skirt night challenge. Don't be afraid to make it weird! Prizes for best
