Studies have shown that when a person enrolls in hospice care they are more likely to have increased family satisfaction and better symptom and pain management. They are also less likely to undergo tests or be given medication they don’t need or want. Contact the Angels Care Hospice office closest to you for more information.

Our Tri-County Voter Promoters voter registration events continue this week at Panther Junction in Big Bend National Park, Porter’s Grocery in Alpine, Morgan University Center at Sul Ross in Alpine, and at the Family Crisis Center in the Terlingua Ghost Town.
Other events may be scheduled in Fort Davis and Marfa. If we can recruit more volunteers, we will set up additional events at other locations.
If you can assist our efforts, please contact us at (432) 426-0122, or email us at remorey@bigbend.net.
Come see us at the Saturday Community Market from 10:00-1:00. Located at the Community Garden in the Ghost Town, we're there every Saturday with happy vendors offering an array of locally produced goods and other items.
We welcome new vendors. Come set up in the shade to sell your wares. Flea market items are welcome. After all, reusing and up-cycling already existing items is smart and green. We ask a $10 donation to the Community Garden to set up, helping us to continue to improve this space and experience for all of us. For more information, text or call 432.213.1863, email SherriTheWriter@aol.com or pop in to the market for a chat. Prepared food vendors must display current food handling licence. (A quick, easy and affordable online course can provide that).
Fresh eggs, local art, handcrafted textiles, goat milk soap, all natural lip balms, hand balms, essential oil perfumes and sugar scrubs, leather goods, handcrafted, creative jewelry, block printed textiles and vintage goods, both curated and upcycled, and more -- you never know just what you'll find here. You might even see a local painter displaying her lovely, colorful works and a locally famous jerky maker on hand selling his tasty wares.
Do you have mad skills and smart, practical talents you'd like to share? We all love to learn about sustainable arts and useful skills here in Terlingua. Let's talk about a workshop.
Please help keep our market space safe and comfortable for all, two-legged and four, by keeping all dogs leashed and under control. We look forward to seeing you there.
