Beloved Momma ‑‑ Aug 22, 1934 - Aug 31, 2022
Virginia Fricker, formerly of Terlingua, Texas, passed away peacefully in Waco, Texas on August 31, 2022.  She was loved by all for her smile, her laugh and her gentle voice.  She had a penchant for rock hunting, a good hike, games, puzzles, comedy, coffee and chocolate candy.  She was an avid reader and a fantastic cook, with many wonderful Terlingua Thanksgiving meals shared with family and local friends.

True to form, Virginia did not wish for a traditional funeral but instead wanted those of us who remain here on earth to celebrate her life with pinatas, stories and her favorite dish, TACOS!  As such, we will have an early Easter celebration, March 2023, in Waco in honor of her personal favorite holiday.  Details will be posted on the funeral home website www.lakeshorefuneralhome.com, where online remembrances (especially funny stories) may be expressed to the family.  Memorial donations may be made to Caritas (any location) or the Big Bend Conservancy.

"Soar high from the heavens above.
When we see a dove, we will think of you and your favorite song La Paloma.
God bless you Mom until we meet again."

With her celebration - and her wonderful humor - in mind, "You can't make everyone happy!  You're not a taco ... nor are you Virginia Fricker".
