Terlingua Word–Off 2022

We are sad to announce that the in-person 2022 Word-Off has once again been put on hold.

We will however, throughout February, be hosting a month-long, online Facebook page for folks to post recorded contributions, new and old.

To honor and remember our friend, Pablo Menudo, the theme for this year’s contributions is

 “Elephant Dreams”.

As always, this is a jumping off point for tall tales, poetry and other original contributions. If you have something you want to contribute that is inspired by, kinda comes close or has absolutely nothing to do with the theme, we would love for you to post it on our Terlingua Word-Off 2022 Facebook page which will be officially open on Groundhog Day, that’s the 2nd of February.

The Terlingua Bottoms Group of AA meets every Thursday at 7:30 at the Big Bend Church in Study Butte. We wear masks during the meeting, and observe distancing.  The meetings are open to anyone who has or thinks they may have a drinking problem.
