NEW APP TO HASTEN BORDER CROSSING TO BOQUILLAS

The holidays will bring a lot of visitors to Boquillas. There is a new system to check people back in to the US. It can be somewhat time consuming but there is a way that you can check yourself in while you wait in line. Download the App: CBP ROAM. There is now wifi at the port of entry, and if you have this App on your mobile phone you can check in, scan your passport, check a few boxes yes or no, then be approved for entry. This is new to the Boquillas Port of Entry; I was the first to use it and it worked fine. The key is to already have the APP loaded, and filled out with your details before arriving at the POE.
