Covid Booster and 1st Time Shots Dec. 9th - Pass the Word!
  A great crew from the National Guard that reached out to our community will return again Dec. 9.  They will provide 1st time shots as well as Booster shots for Pfizer and Moderna.

        Be prepared to fill out some paperwork and bring your Covid Immunization Card if you have one. Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Big Bend Church.

Earth and Fire Gallery ‑‑ Blue skies and mountains.  Colorful sunrises and sunsets.  Thunderclouds, moonscapes and so many stars.  What an incredible and majestic force of nature I have all around me out here.  It’s constant, calming and inspirational!!

        Come join me for my reception at the Earth and Fire Gallery in Terlingua Ghost Town on Saturday December 4th at 4pm till... Refreshments will be served. We will make a fire. Bring your guitars!!!

        Abstract paintings and wearable fiber art show and sale. Presentation is by Frona Farrelly.  Show will run December 1st through the 31st.

The Terlingua Bottoms Group of AA ‑‑ meets every Thursday at 7:30 at the Big Bend Church in Study Butte. We wear masks during the meeting, and observe distancing.  The meetings are open to anyone who has or thinks they may have a drinking problem.  If you are ill, we respectfully ask that you stay home and call for a "telephone meeting" instead, 432-371-2073.  Leave a message and we'll get back to you.

If you observe anyone trespassing, please document as many details as possible of both the vehicle (make, model, color, license plate, etc.) and the suspect(s). Photographs are also helpful for identifying perpetrators for prosecution. Sheriff Dodson will have extra patrols in various areas throughout the county, including Terlingua Ranch, during hunting season. The Big Bend Citizens Alliance ‑‑ will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 15, 6 p.m. at the Red Pattillo Community Center.  The Alliance is a 501(c)3 public charity supporting the Terlingua Community Garden, Canyon View Community Park, Terlingua Recycles, Voices from Both Sides, Terlingua Visual Arts, Terlingua Dark Sky Alliance, and Terlingua Cares.  All are welcome to attend this public meeting.  Included on the agenda will be discussion & action to change the Bylaws such that our financial structure better conforms to our bank's requirements.  For more information, agenda, minutes, etc, please email secretary.bbca@gmail.com or call Sara at 371-2902 with your questions.
