“Yes, there are plenty of heroes and heroines everywhere you look. They
are not famous people. They are generally obscure and modest people
doing useful work, keeping their families together and taking an active
part in the health of their communities, opposing what is evil (in one
way or another) and defending what is good. Heroes do not want power
over others.” ~ Edward Abbey

start smack dab midweek this time – Wednesday’s Open Mic! Several
musicians and individuals from Alpine, Marathon, Marfa and other points
north and west, involved in the fight against the Trans-Pecos Pipeline,
will be coming down to join us in the cause and inform us with song and
speech. Hosted by Jeffro Greasewood every Wednesday from 7 – ??? and all
Musicians’ Tips are donated to the Big Bend Conservation Alliance to
help with their efforts to stop the construction of the proposed
pipeline. This will be the best one yet and, as always, everyone is
welcome!!! Friday night from 7 – 10 p.m. we’ll have Trevor Hickle and
Pat O’Bryan live and in person! What could make that better? How about
our Friday Night Menu Special! Give us a call (432) 371-2219) or check
back on Facebook for details! Saturday night we have Ted Arbogast in
the Boat from 8 – 11. Guaranteed to be amazing. We open at 5:00, 7 days
