A big shout out to you, Terlingua, the Medical Students from HCS, Colorado Christian University, Mike Drinkard of the Crisis Ctr. and Kathy Wisdom. Mike helped bring
those without vehicles to the clinic and then took them home! Yeah Mike! Kathy
helped with supplying yummy food to the Medical Team and super help in the
kitchen!

BBCC, and for their hard work & funding to
help make the July 4th parade and party a great success! Many
thanks to the Community and parade participants for making it a great event! A
giant thank you is extended to chamber Event Committee members, Board members,
TFEMS employees, and Board members who volunteered many hours of hard
work. Thanks to everyone’s raffle anticipation,
we were able to donate $545 to TFEMS! Special

The Terlingua Bottoms Group of AA meets every Thursday at 7:30 at the Big Bend
Church in Study Butte. The meetings are
open to anyone who has or thinks they may have a drinking problem. For more

BIG BEND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEETING: The
Big Bend Chamber of Commerce will hold its next meeting on Thursday, July 14,
2022, at the Oasis room at Far Flung beginning at 6:00 pm. All Chamber members and interested parties
are welcome to attend.
BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK DONATES A WILDLAND
FIRE ENGINE TO THE TOWN OF MARATHON, TEXAS
On Thursday, July 7, 2022, Big Bend National
Park's surplus Wildland Fire Engine 864 was transferred to the Marathon Fire
Department. Engine 864 is a 2011 Ford
F-550 that is classified as a Type 6 Wildland Fire Engine, designed for use in
rural settings and used in initial attacks on wildfires.
