Max is a big, beautiful australian shepherd/border collie mix that was brought into the shelter by a volunteer on 4/24/17. His mild demeanor and happy ways made us sure he would be picked up by his owner, but he was not. Lucky for his new adopter! He will be neutered on 5/4, but applications for his adoption are being accepted. If you have any questions about Max or any other animal in the Alpine Shelter, please email heatherthemule@gmail.com
Terlingua Recycling
Thanks to Dan Sholly, and Alice & Dick Wildermuth who six-handedly took on April's recycling and to Eduardo at Big Bend National Park for taking us on a week early. What a team!
A friendly reminder that we are limited on space and it would help tremendously if you could "crush" your plastic bottles - especially milk and water containers - as well as cans. We're able to accommodate a lot more in the bins that way.
Keep on keepin' on to limit our footprint and to keeping Terlingua GREEN! Questions about volunteering (or recycling in general?) Call 830-739-6986 or send a FB message to Terlingua Recycles.
Send your news to TerlinguaMoon@gmail.com by NOON Monday.
