Alpine Animal Shelter: Franklin, a 9-month-old Pit Bull/Bulldog cross who can wiggle with the best of them. Franklin is really enthusiastic about attention- whether being petted by humans or playing with other dogs. This enthusiasm can mean that he isn't always the most self-aware dog; he'd love a dog friend but might be considered pesky by mellow dogs that prefer their independence. Franklin will revel in the security of keepers who love him and do fun things all together. He has already made great progress with his leash-walking skills and not jumping up (read: more wiggles). He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all shots/vaccinations. The Alpine Animal Shelter is open M-F from 10am to 6pm (closed 1-2pm) and by appointment on the weekends, located on the east side of Alpine on Old Marathon Road.
