Terlingua MOON
January 19, 2021
Vol.  32       No. 3

When we look at modern man we have to face the fact that modern man suffers from a kind of poverty of the spirit which stands in glaring contrast with a  scientific and technological abundance.
We’ve learned to fly the air as birds .
We’ve learned to swim the seas as fish .
Yet we haven’t learned to walk the earth as brothers and sisters.
~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Word-Off 2021 Postponed

The 2021 Terlingua Word-Off is being postponed until we can safely gather again.
The Word-Off is an annual gathering of local folk to read original prose and poetry and tell tall tales.
The event is one of the things that makes Terlingua unique and special, and it is not going to disappear, it is just taking a temporary hiatus.  The folks who present the Word-Off would like to thank everyone who has been involved, past and present, and we hope that all this down time has been an opportunity to get the creative juices flowing. Wishing everyone a safe, healthy and creative New Year.
