Disclaimer:We are evolving how we distribute information about COVID-19 testing and results in Brewster County. Most of the information is pulled from the Department of State Health Services with assistance from our Local Health Authority and the Texas Department of Emergency Management. The State is aware of some delays in reporting, mostly due to the use of private labs, and they are working to streamline the data.Hospitalization information is provided by BBRMC. Information about transfers to larger hospitals has been requested, but privacy laws prevent our hospital from publishing that number. We will post this information at approximately the same time on a daily basis, including weekends. Any of the data that changes throughout the day will be amended and posted the next day. There may be occasional lags, but we will always work to provide the most accurate information available.Of note, we have over 200 tests pending at this time.**REVISED TO ADD ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**No labs reported results to the local counties or physicians in the last 24 hours. We can only report results and testing numbers as they come in or as we are notified. However, recoveries did increase. We have also added additional information comparing our local infection rate to Texas as a whole.
