TERLINGUA FIRE AND EMS
is looking for a full time Ambulance Driver (yes, just a driver) and a quality EMT. 7 day on, 7 day off schedule. After 6 p.m. you will be on call only. Driver should have a good driving record and familiar with driving truck size vehicles. EMT must have a current TDSHS EMT-B, EMT-A or Paramedic certification. NOVEMBER COMMUNITY TAIZE SERVICE AT ST. PAUL'S, MARFA
Taize, an ecumenical, inter-spiritual service of reconciliation will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at the corner of Washington and Highland in Marfa. Taize worship consists of meditative singing and periods of silence in order to reach a contemplative state. CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Plains Dealer: A conversation with Butch Hancock of the Flatlanders, the band that essentially created the Americana genre in 1972, is like talking to a master of West Texas Zen.
