THE TERLINGUA BOTTOMS GROUP OF AA meets every Thursday at 7:30 at the Big Bend Church in Study Butte.  The meetings are open to anyone who has or thinks they may have a drinking problem.

BLACKEYED PEA OFF
It's time for another Blackeyed Pea Off, Monday, January 1st, 2018 on the porch in the Terlingua Ghostown.  $5.00 entry fee for Peas, with turn in time at 2:00 sharp.
Two Rules:  1. Have Fun    2. No Beans!
AFTER 2:00, for a $5.00 (or more) donation, you get a bowl, spoon and cornbread, with a chance to taste peas for good luck.  All proceeds go to our theater group, Last Minute, Low Budget Productions.
Live music provided by The Rafters.  There will also be a bake sale, as well as the Hot Date Raffle.  A surprise "arrest" is in the works...
Come join us once again to insure Good Luck for 2018

TERLINGUA RECYCLES!
Thanks to everyone who helped make the Terlingua recycling effort a success in 2017. We'd love a few New Year's resolutions to include volunteering with us in 2018! There won't be a run into the Park this week given the holidays but we'll no doubt need to make a special run sometime in early January - stay tuned. PECAN MAN is in town again, and he brought bags of fresh-from-the-sheller, halves and piece by the one-pound bag for $8 each.  These are delicious, this year's crop; if you got some last year, you know.  Locals call 2506, (the Burrs) and we will reserve yours for you.  Or email elcentro432@gmail.com

PEANUT is a large 1yo male Pitbull who is ready for a terrific home. Peanut is an effervescent dog who is overflowing with love and enthusiasm. He loves attention and to play with his toys.
