Cody arrived at the Alpine shelter on 9/6/16 after an extended period of transition from his original home but he has already earned a Most Improved Pet award through his play group outings. Cody was pretty shut down towards both dogs and humans when he first arrived but he has been thriving in play group with other playful dogs of all sizes and temperaments- growing more confident every day! We are loving this transformation! Cody is less than a year old and is a heeler-retriever mix, a beautiful guy who needs a patient family that will continue his training and socialization, giving him the exercise and bonding he needs.
Cody can be adopted for only $50 until October 1st.  Please email heatherthemule@gmail.com for more info on Cody or any of the pets at the Alpine shelter.

Finally – if you have a friend or neighbor without a computer, please print out a copy of the Moon and give it to them if possible.  We will not be distributing hard copies of this week’s Moon.
