ART CAMP PARTY

The first annual Terlingua Art Camp has been so much fun! We are creating great art, and sharing fantastic ideas! We would like to change the reception time to 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Friday. Hope you can stop by and see the creations at the Casa de la Cultura in the Terlingua Ghostown.

VIVA TERLINGUA FESTIVAL AT LA KIVA

"La Kiva will be open for the Viva Terlingua Festival!  A $15 BBQ buffet will be served along with beer and mixed drinks.  Please note during the Festival we will be able to accept cash only for the food and beverages.  (This does not apply to the wristband fees).  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  In the future when La Kiva is actually open full time we will, of course, be able to take credit cards."

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR SETTING ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF BREWSTER COUNTY AUDITOR AND ASSISTANT AUDITOR

A Public Hearing will be held by Judge Roy Ferguson, 394th Judicial District Court of Brewster County, Texas, on September 1, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. in the District Courtroom of the Brewster County Courthouse at 201 W. Avenue E, Alpine, Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on setting the annual compensation for the Brewster County auditor and assistant auditor. All interested parties and citizens will have an opportunity to be heard. At the conclusion of the hearing, the auditor’s compensation and the assistant auditor’s compensation shall be ordered by the District Judge.
