"Every human being is a raindrop.
And when enough of the raindrops
become clear and coherent they then
become the power of the storm."

Terlingua Recycles! This Thursday, July 21, it's our monthly recycling run from Terlingua to the Recycling Station in Big Bend National Park. Jim and Barbara Hines will once again be pulling the recycling trailer into the Park and we could still use a few other volunteers to help us unload at the station and give a couple of hours back to Park in their efforts toward recycling. The recycling trailer is located behind the EMS station on 170 (between Terlingua and Study Butte). We'll pull out of there shortly after 8 and should be back around 1. You're welcome to ride with one of the other volunteers or drive yourself. The recycling station is located near Panther Junction (if you drive yourself and need to head back earlier than the rest of the crew, no problem. Every little bit helps)!  We'd like to thank everyone who's jumped on this wagon and helped with the recycling efforts - using the correct bins, rinsing items before putting them into the bins, sorting, getting the word out and more. If you'd like more information, email Jeff at draftexllc@gmail.com or send a message via Terlingua Recycles Facebook page.

Your TANK(s) are on the way.  Call our home # 2506 so we can get and give you specifics about when, where and how. The cell # isn't reliable for messages, but the home phone is or email elcentro432@gmail.com

Mama "Molly" and her five female Jack Russell Terrier mix puppies are now available for adoption from the Alpine Animal Shelter. Molly is a submissive dog who responds so well to attention. She’s been a great mom and her puppies are adorable and precocious. We’d like to see them quickly adopted! Molly is small – about 15 pounds – and dad is a mystery, but the puppies are cute as can be and in a variety of colors. All are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and ready for love. Pictures coming to Petfinder soon. All Alpine shelter animals are online at https://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=TX1202 and for more info, email heatherthemule@gmail.com
NOTE: PITTIE-PALOOZA starts July 28th. More on that next week!
