TCSD Public Meeting Wednesday
The Terlingua Common School District will hold a public meeting at 6pm, on June 29 (tomorrow) in the Big Bend High School meeting room, Terlingua. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district’s budget that will determine the tax rate that will be adopted. Public participation in the discussion is invited.

    I travel to the Alpine farmers market on Saturdays and usually start picking and bagging vegetables on Wednesdays, so call first or just drop in at 5.00.
   Turn on Ross drive and make first left up the hill, then go right to the first Dbl wide with a car port. Blow horn , knock or go around back to green house and chicken coop and YELL!  Five minutes from 170 close to Y. Green beans coming soon along with Pac Choy and hopefully plum and beefsteak tomatoes.CHEAPER THAN ALPINE MARKET PRICES.

Library Story Time
Big Bend Library will host story time this Wednesday, June 29, from 1-2. All children and parents are invited. This is the last story time of the summer. 

This week at the High Sierra
Tuesday night June 28, at 9 PM a showing of the West Texas Investors Club!
Thursday night June 30, we will be hosting our Dinner and a Movie Night! Movie starts at 8 PM.  We will also be offering a taste of our late-night nachos on the house, so come enjoy a movie, eat dinner, and try our late-night nachos!
Friday, July 1, Peter Herrera will be playing at 7 PM. Come join us for some great music!
Saturday night we will be hosting Manz Lowry for a night of music and spectacular fireworks show to celebrate the 4th of July weekend! Music starts at 7 PM. Fireworks show starts at 10 PM.
Sunday, July 3, we will have our 1st Sunday Song Circle with Collie Ryan starting at noon. Also Sunday night we will have Jeff Haislip playing at 7 PM.
